Vitamin D 欠乏していない２型糖尿病のハイリスク群において、Vitamin D³ の１日4000 IU の摂取はプラセボ群と比較して、糖尿病のリスクを著明に下げることはなかった。

GLP-1受容体アゴニストの週1回製剤であるデュラグルチドの長期投与による膵β細胞への効果をマウスで検証した。血糖降下作用に加え、β細胞機能に有益な効果(β細胞量・サイズ維持、β細胞機能維持遺伝子保持、GLP1R受容体数の維持、抗炎症、抗アポトーシス、抗繊維化など)を示した.

スカンジナビア3カ国の2型糖尿病患者を対象とした，傾向スコアマッチングのコホート研究である．SGLT2阻害薬はDPP4阻害薬と比較し，心不全と総死亡のリスクを有意に減少させたが、心血管イベントは両薬剤間に差がなかった．
