Discussion：
糖尿病黄斑浮腫に対して使用されるRanibizumabは、長期間(13-36ヶ月)使用すると、糖尿病網膜症を改善させたり、進展を阻止したりする効果がある。ただし使用開始が遅れると、その効果は限定的となる。 Ranibizumabを使用しているにも関わらず糖尿病網膜症が進展する症例で、リスクファクターを解析したところ、黄斑部虚血とも関連が示唆された。
