ＨＳＤ11Ｂ2遺伝子型頻度は糖尿病リスクに関連していることが示唆された。この多型と推定される中間表現型や糖代謝の臨床パラメーターとの機能的な関連については今後多くの2型糖尿病患者から解明される必要がある。
