Discussion：
8 週間のゼロカロリー ADF は安全で許容可能であることを示唆した。ADF 介入後はカロリー制限食介入後と同様の結果を得た。
ADF は肥満治療のための治療として今後期待される。

日本人 2型糖尿病肥満患者を対象とした、腹腔鏡下スリーブ胃切除十二指腸バイパス術は中期的（ 5 年）に優れた体重減少と血糖改善効果を示し、その効果は腹腔鏡下 Roux-en-Y 胃バイパス術と同等考えられた。
