・人種の違いによる低血糖リスクを減少させるためには、今後の研究が必要である

Discussion：
オンラインゲームで DSME を受けた糖尿病患者は、持続的な HbA1c 改善を認めた。コントロール不良の糖尿病患者の中で、 DSME ゲームは新たな糖尿病薬の開始に匹敵する程 HbA1cを減少させた。オンラインゲームは、地理的に分散した糖尿病および他の慢性疾患患者のアウトカムを改善するためのスケーラブルなアプローチである可能性がある。

Discussion：
nephropathy に対してはリスクの減少の結果となった反面、retinopathy に対してはnegative な結果となった。この結果に関しては今後さらなる検証が必要である。
