ＨＳＤ11Ｂ2遺伝子型頻度は糖尿病リスクに関連していることが示唆された。この多型と推定される中間表現型や糖代謝の臨床パラメーターとの機能的な関連については今後多くの2型糖尿病患者から解明される必要がある。

Discussion：
糖尿病性有痛性神経症の治療において植物、食品(weekley support classesを含む)の介入の潜在性価値が示唆された。この研究からは、体重減少が最も影響を及ぼしたと考えられると思う。
