1型または2型DM患者においてrelamorelin 10mg1日2回投与により胃内容物排出が有意に促進され、嘔吐が有意に減少した。嘔吐がある群では relamorelinにより上記に加え、他の4つの症状も改善した。

Discussion：
2型糖尿病で安定したCAD合併の患者さんにおいて、CABG（冠動脈バイパス術）+OMT（適切な薬物治療）は5年の経過で総死亡、心筋梗塞、脳卒中の発症率を低下させた。総死亡と心筋梗塞においてはPCI+OMTより有意に発症率を低下させた。

全DKDの有病率は年代による変化はなく、28-26％であった。Albuminuria、macroalbuminuriaは時代とともに減少したが、eGFR低下、高度eGFR低下は時代とともに増加していた。Alubuminuria の減少には人種差と年齢差がみられた。人種ではnon-hispanic whiteでのみ認められたが、これは高脂血症や高血圧の治療率がnon-hispanic whiteで高かったのが理由かもしれない。年齢では65歳以下でAlubuminuria の減少を認めた。
今後はeGFR低下を阻止する治療法を確立させる必要がある。
