糖尿病を合併している HFpEF の患者は

① うっ血所見を示す症例が多い
② QOL が低い
③ HT-proBNP が高い
④ 心エコーで構造的、機能的異常を認める
⑤ 生命予後が悪い

今後の研究でさらなる解明が必要である。

サーチュインとは、代謝を調節する進化的に保存されたニコチンアミドアデニンジヌクレオチド（NAD +）依存性脱アセチル化酵素であり、哺乳類では、7 種のサーチュイン（ SIRT1-7 ）が存在する。脂肪細胞、骨格筋、視床下部、肝臓、膵臓、骨などの体内の組織において糖・脂質代謝にSIRT 1 SIRT 7 が関与する。
