1型糖尿病患者を対象として、テプリズマブを12日間2クール毎日静脈内投与した結果、78週後のβ細胞機能（負荷試験のCペプチド頂値）の維持は有意差があった。しかし、HbA1c、TIR、1日インスリン量、低血糖の頻度には有意差は認められなかった。
