子宮内の母体GDM暴露は母体BMIや児のBMIと独立して、児のIGTと関連した。母体GDMに暴露された児はインスリン抵抗性増加と代償性インスリン分泌低下を認めた。

Discussion：
今回の研究では、Glyburide が Insulin と比較し、すべてのアウトカムでの非劣性との断定はできなかった。ただし、母児合併症の多くに関しては、有意差を認めなかった。
OHA の服薬アドヒアランス、医療負担の軽減等も考慮しつつ、リスク・ベネフィットを見極めた上での投薬の検討が重要である。
