TrialNet Anti-CD3 Prevention Trial(NEJM.381：603, 2019)において、Oral minimal model (OMM)由来の指標(総インスリン分泌、IS(insulin sensitivity)、β細胞機能（処理指数 [DI]、φ total と IS の積）、インスリンクリアランス)を偽薬、実薬(CD3モノクローナル抗体：テプリツマブ)の両群間で検討した。OMM指標により、stage2の1型糖尿病に おけるインスリン分泌の不均一性を明らかにし、両群における急速進行型と緩徐進行型の 代謝表現型の違いを特定し得た。

・1型糖尿病のケトアシドーシスの治療でもちいる輸液は 0.9%生理食塩水 が標準的である
・酸リンゲル液をもちいた方がアシドーシスの回復が早いという報告もある
・大量の生理食塩水の投与で高クロール性アシドーシスのリスクがある
・今後も引き続きDKAの治療に用いる最適な輸液に関して エビデンスの蓄積が期待される

型糖尿病を有する成人の大規模コホートにおいて，KDIGO分類に基づく
CKD有病率は18.5%であり，eGFR 60未満の27.4％が正常アルブミン尿であった．
死亡率を含むすべての腎・心血管アウトカムの発生率はeGFRが低下するにつれて徐々に
増加した．G1A1をreferenceとした場合，G2A1の群においてもHRは上昇した．
従来非CKDで低リスクと考えられてきたG2A1でも主要アウトカムのリスクが高く，早期
の段階で専門医の関与が必要と考えられた．糸球体過剰濾過を示す可能性があるGFR 105
