Discussion：
ACCORDION MIND studyはACCORD studyによる約4年の血糖コントロール介入後80ヶ月の認知機能と脳容量を調査し介入による効果を認めなかった。血圧と脂質の介入でも同様に差はなかった。対象人数の減少による検出力不足や、それぞれの介入が混在していること、平均罹病期間が開始時10年なのですでに変化が進んでいる可能性が考えられる。
