糖尿病網膜症の初期病変（毛細血管瘤、網膜出血、白斑）を、画像からコンピュータで同定する試みは、アルゴリズムやフィルターを工夫することで、かなりの精度でできるようになってきた。

HbA1c が低いこと、血糖測定が頻回であること、カーボカウントの使用、高い頻度の運動などが糖尿病特異的な健康関連 QOL スコア高値に関連していた。１９ ～ ２５ 才と女性は同スコアが低かった。

MH 手術後、OCT により閉鎖状況を判定して個別に指示することで治療効果に影響を与えずうつ伏せ期間を短縮できる。⇒画一的なうつ伏せ導入はする必要ではなく、OCT 判定し、必要時のみうつ伏せ開始でも治療効果は損なわれないことが示唆された。

Discussion：
食事ガイドの配布だけでも体重と福井は有意に低下する。それに食品提供や助言を加えると果物・野菜・全粒穀物の摂取量は増えるが、体重と腹囲への追加の効果は低かった。
