Discussion：
低血糖における反応として低血糖自覚1型糖尿病は、非糖尿病で認める脳領域(線条体)の変化を示さないが、角回領域の脳活動増加を示し、低血糖に対する適切な反応を代償メカニズムであり得る.
無自覚低血糖では、脳反応の消失により、低血糖に対する適切な行動が欠如する.
本研究は低血糖頻度の減少が局所脳反応変化を回復できるかどうかを決定するための将来の介入研究の重要性を示している.
