Discussion：
ルーワイ胃バイパス術（ RYGB ）を施行された 2 型糖尿病患者のうち、約 75 ％が 1 年以内糖尿病寛解に至った。RYGB 施行による早期の糖尿病寛解が細小血管障害の抑制につながることが示唆された。

今回、短期での HbA1c の改善が一秒率やピークフローを上昇させることが示された。良好な血糖コントロールは、呼吸機能、生命予後に良い影響を及ぼす可能性がある。

Discussion：
経口セマグルチド7mgおよび14 mg/dayは、メトホルミンで血糖コントロールが不十分な2型糖尿病の成人で、SUの有無にかかわらず、シタグリプチンと比べて、26週間にわたりHbA1cを有意に減少させたが、3mg/dayの用量では有意差は認めなかった。
実臨床下での有効性評価のさらなる検討が必要である。
