抗VEGF注射を3回受けた糖尿病網膜症眼では、超広角蛍光眼底造影とスウェプトソース広角OCTアンギオグラフィーの2つの画像診断法を用いても、無灌流領域における血管や毛細血管網の再灌流は検出されなかった。無灌流領域の検出率は、スウェプトソース広角OCTアンギオグラフィーの方がが超広角蛍光眼底造影に比べて高かった。

抗VEGF薬硝子体内投与回数の増加に伴い、CAVI、IMT、シスタチンCは低下した。滲出性加齢黄斑変性に対する抗VEGF薬硝子体内投与は動脈硬化を進行させないことが示唆された。

- 硝子体出欠を伴う増殖糖尿病網膜症に対する 25G 硝子体手術後に 9.3 % の患者が 1 年以内に新生血管緑内障に至った。
- 若い患者、PRP なし、血糖コントロール不良、術後 VH が予測因子であった。
- 新生血管緑内障を発生させないためには内科医と眼科医の連携が必要である。
